What is a Travel Advisor?

I work as your personal travel advocate—handling research, booking, logistics, and on-the-ground details while securing VIP perks and preferred-partner benefits you can't access on your own. I'm affiliated with Fora Travel, a leading luxury travel network with global hotel and cruise partnerships.

How does the process work?

1️⃣ Intro Call – We discuss your vision, style, budget, and must-haves.

2️⃣ Client Intake Form – Complete your travel profile with loyalty member numbers, allergies, and credit card information

3️⃣ Proposal + Booking – I present curated hotel options and handle reservations once you select your favorite.

4️⃣ Travel Support – I remain available before and during your trip.

Why should I book with you instead of booking myself or through my credit card portal?

Travel advisors get priority over your credit card booking portal when it comes to upgrades and perks!When booking your trip through a Fora Advisor, you'll also benefit from the partnerships we have with more than 8,200 hotels and travel providers around the world, including Virtuoso, Four Seasons, Rosewood, Belmond and beyond. Say hello to room upgrades, complimentary breakfasts, resort credits and top-tier treatment.Depending on the property, benefits may include:• Complimentary breakfast• Room upgrades (when available)• Resort or spa credits• Welcome amenities• Early check-in / late checkout• Priority waitlists

Do I pay more to work with you?

You don’t pay more to book with me—hotel rates are the same as booking direct. In many cases, I’m also able to add perks like welcome amenities, breakfast, resort credits, and priority upgrades.

For more complex or highly customized trips, a planning fee may apply to cover the time and care that goes into designing your itinerary. This will always be discussed upfront.

What if I already booked my hotel?

Reach out! In some cases I can still take over the reservation and add perks—or help with dining, transfers, excursions, or future trips.

Can I use points and still book with you as my travel advisor?

I’m not able to book hotel stays using points, but I can absolutely still support your trip in other ways—whether that’s hotel research, comparing options, or coordinating things like airport transfers. I offer these services for a flat fee.

What does MRC stand for?

MRC comes from my family—Maria (or Mike, my husband, depends on the day!), Ryan, and Chase.Travel is about making memories with the people you love most. ❤️
